Megan Mundy - Officiant / Grande Dame

Yuri and Megan met a mere five years ago, but that’s because the powers of the universe feared the consequences of their eventual union and postponed it as long as possible. They were right to be afraid, because upon meeting on that fateful day in 2020, they immediately united to be the two people that should never sit next to each other at a serious function. Sharing a birthday, and every stereotypical Virgo tendency imaginable, Yuri and Megan embarked upon a friendship likened to an exclusive VIP club—strictly members only, and unfortunately, everyone else is permanently on the waitlist. With the exception of Daniel, of course... Daniel once (drunkenly) described Megan as “one of my friends TOO!” The three were a solid throuple, just a Fruit Fly and her #1 gays, until Megan met Alan, who she married earlier this year, thanks to a proposal that came to fruition with the gracious help of said gays. Now the foursome look forward to building their retirement compound one day, where Alan can cook, Daniel can play Ariana at top volume, and Megan and Yuri can watch endless amounts of Bravo, and they’ll all live happily ever after.

Yurief… what can I say? I know we met on an uneventful day September of 1979 but sometimes it feels like you’ve been with me every waking moment of my life. You are my person, the one person that unconditionally loves me and puts me in my place! The person that deserves this happiness and love more than anyone(of marital age) that I know. As for Daniel, I can’t pinpoint a meeting date but I do know that the date you walked into my brothers life was one of the best day of mine. Forever our Danielito!

I met Daniel in 2018 working at the old pet alliance of greater Orlando near millennia mall. Since forming our bond and becoming best friends we have been inseparable and Yuri low key gets scared sometimes when we spend too much time together at once. Orlando has always been my home, but I left in 2020 to start a new adventure, and although I had only met yuri a few times before moving, I knew I was leaving my best friend with someone I could trust. I came back in 2022 and these two saved me from a dark time and brought me back to life (mentally) along with my therapist of course. Daniel is more like a brother to me, and when Yuri asked Daniel to marry him, I realized I now have two brothers. They have been together through hard times, good times, building their relationship- not just with each other, but by also being there for each others families and friends and it’s been amazing to be a part of. I can’t wait to be a part of their big day and I am honored to be Daniel’s MAID OF HONOR.

Well I met tio (yuri) bc he was this random man that was picking me up that day I was born and he just kinda stuck around from there. Forever grateful for my mom and grandma finding him in a trash can because if not I would not be who I am today. When I first met Daniel I was so nervous yet excited to meet the person my uncle had been talking about. Since I was so young, I don't remember specific details but I remember that he was so sweet and thinking that my uncle caught one of the good ones. Daniel and my tio are some of the most amazing people I know and I wholeheartedly cherish all of the memories, laughs, and amazing jam car rides.

For those of you who do not know me, I am Daniel’s biological sister. Daniel and I grew up together in the small town of Inman, SC. Growing up together we were the most important people in each other’s lives, being only three years apart and each other’s only siblings. We went through the unexpected loss of our dad together and many other trials and tribulations which brought us even closer. I remember when I found out Daniel was moving to Florida back in 2015, I was heartbroken, knowing that he would be over eight hours away for the first time in my entire life!! Over the years it has been hard for us to keep our close bond strong with us living so far apart, but now I realize that moving to Florida was the best thing for him. All I ever wanted was for my brother to find happiness and he has found that with Yuri. I am so excited for Daniel and Yuri to embark on this amazing journey and grow together as a couple. I know they will both have a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness while creating beautiful memories together! I must add that their nephew Jackson thinks the world of his FUNcles and loves swimming in their swimming pool!! He talks about them all the time!

You know when you're friendship will stand the test of time when you can live in different states and maybe only see eachother once or twice a year but it's always as if no time has passed. That's Yuri and I. Knowing Yuri & Daniel as a couple was as so many situations were through the Pandemic, digital. Once they finally made it to NYC together what I assumed was a beautiful relationship was evident in person. So happy to see them happy together.

I remember meeting Daniel through a crazy ex… and thinking how does this kid from Deltona Fl know all of my friends. Like who is this kid and where did he come from. I would have never guessed that we would become as close as we did and then even closer after my ex and i broke up! From crazy nights, to “living together” through the pandemic, we’ve been through so much. Speaking of the pandemic, it was around that time when i first heard the name Yuri. His name kept coming up more and more and then the pandemic hit, and i never saw Daniel again! He spent lots of time with this guy yuri during the quarantine and I’m so grateful that he did. He met his perfect match someone that wouldn’t put up with his crap, but also the most loving person you could imagine. Once I met Yuri in person, I knew it was the real thing with them. And the crazy ride they have been through together, proves that their love will last forever. I’m honored to be a part of their lives and cannot wait to see their love story bloom.
