Yuri and Daniel met at a quaint high end market in Orlando, Fl called Lucky's Market........This is not actually the truth. It is just the story that Daniel likes to tell people.

Now for the FACTS! Yuri and Daniel met on a dating app. After chatting for a few days, Yuri had to leave on a business trip (surprise, surprise). During his two weeks away, they spoke every day. They were exchanges stories of their lives, families, friends, loves and hates.

After Yuri returned to Orlando, they decided to meet on a Friday night at a small restaurant / bar, The Hammered Lamb (RIP). That date started on Friday and ended on Monday after going to a bar, meeting up for brunch, going to a haunted hayride and even traveling to Tampa for a night to go to Howl-O-Scream. The first thing they bonded on was their love for all things Halloween.

From that point forward they were inseparable. This is until the world made sure they couldn't get away from each other. Covid-19 came along and they sat down with Cooper, Daniel's cockapoo, and decided to quarantine together...and it was the best choice they've ever made. They learned a lot about each other, about living together and quickly learned that they couldn't live without each other.

Since then, they've added to their family by adopting their second baby Chico, bought a home, traveled the world and continued to build their love for each other.

Yuri and Daniel were traveling through Italy with Yuri's family in the summer of 2023. After a few days of failed attempts and hot weather that made it miserable and sweaty, Yuri finally found the perfect moment to pop the question. They took a boat ride to Burano while visiting Venice where Yuri dropped to one knee on a small bridge over the famous canals and proposed with the beautiful painted houses in the background.

They are happy to be taking their next step surrounded by amazing family and friends.
